The 2009 S2000 is powered by a 237 horsepower, in-line 4-cylinder aluminum-alloy, 16-valve DOHC VTEC engine. It features a 6-speed manual transmission and torque-sensing limited-slip differential, a high X-bone monocoque frame, independent in-wheel double wishbone suspension with coil springs, and electric power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, giving you both supreme speed and handling.

Honda introduces the Base model from the 2009 S2000, which comes equipped with standard features, including lightweight silver alloy wheels; electrically powered soft top; a molded convertible top cover; Bridgestone Potenza tires; and front and rear stabilizer bars. You'll also enjoy comfort and convenience features that come standard with the base trim, which include air conditioning with an air-filtration system; an aluminum shift knob with leather; leather-trimmed seats; remote-operated audio controls; and an 8-speaker audio system with four integrated roll bar speakers. 
On the outside of this trim, you will find front and rear stabilizer bars, a rear body brace, Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires, lightweight dark silver alloy wheels, a front underbody spoiler, a rear wing spoiler, body-colored roll bar cowlings, and a removable hardtop.
The 2009 With A/C CR trim comes equipped with all the fantastic features of the CR trim -- such as an aluminum shift knob, a rear wing spoiler, and a rear body brace -- plus air conditioning with an air-filtration system.
